RS MEP Design Ltd was formed in 2016 by Rob Simmonds. Since forming the company, I have built a client base comprising of established names, primarily in the prestigious residential and commercial property sectors, which is where the bulk of my work is focused. I have developed good working relationships with clients over my years as an engineer, leading to extensive repeat business. I am active in all disciplines of Building Services Consultancy, including mechanical, electrical, lifts, public health and IT.

I started RS MEP Design Ltd following 10 years of experience in Building Services Consultancy. I have a hands on approach with extensive experience in prestigious residential, commercial and retail projects. I work with clients and design teams to help achieve the clients requirements, whether it be the finish and concealment in prestigious residential properties or meeting budgets of developers on commercial projects.

Key Experience:
I have 16 years of building services design experience having started my career with JB&B in 2007. Following JB&B, I joined BDSP (now Chapman BSDP) working on international design projects such as the Olympic Velodrome. I then joined TPS in 2009, working my way up to Associate Partner before leaving to start my own venture.
Key projects throughout my career include The Broadgate Tower and Olympic Velodrome, historic, Grade 1 & 2 listed commercial and residential building renovations within the Grosvenor, Portman, Cadogan and Bedford Estates. Recent work has been diverse including several prime and super prime residential properties in Kensington & Chelsea, several large Country Manor houses in Essex and Surrey, new build and permitted developments residential developments of between 9 and 200 apartments with contract values in excess of £15M. Office fitouts, warehouse developments, school refurbishments and extensions and large-scale plant replacements.
When not at work, I try and spend my spare time on the golf course
